Much like other artists I remember being able to draw at a very young age. The introduction to oil painting at age twelve by my grandmother opened up a whole new world of creativity. My interest in art continued through high school and then college, where I graduated with a B.S. in Studio Art from Florida State University. My focus was on drawing and painting with extra studies in art history, pottery, printmaking, and photography.

Having honed my style over the years my art has developed a delicate quality full of color and subtle brushstrokes and in each piece I attempt to create an emotional connection. As an artist there is a great satisfaction in painstakingly recording a brief moment in time whether it is dappled light through a glass window, or reflections that dance over water. Every one of my paintings has a little piece of my heart and I hope you enjoy my work.
